We, as Geniş Açı Photography Magazine, launched a support campaign 'Supported by Photographs' with the purpose of continuing our existence and also enabling to set remarkable events in the field of photography.
From the outset, we acknowledge that it is not only our personal efforts lifting Geniş Açı up among the prominent periodicals; also it is your contributions who are reading and archiving Geniş Açı and who are looking for better. On the edge of a new turn, Geniş Açı needs your support. Thus, as previously launched by Aperture Foundation (one of the most prestigious photography foundation in the world) and recently by Açık Radyo (an independent radio station broadcasting in Turkey), we initiate a support campaign which we thought could be a turning point and fresh air to Geniş Açı.
In addition, we anticipate that this support campaign shall be the first step to one of our long term goals 'Geniş Açı Editions' and hopefully be the impulsive force for photography collectioning. You shall give your support by returning donations of YTL 150, YTL 250 and YTL 400. Our participants to the support campaign shall respectively denominated as Geniş Açı Destekçisi (Geniş Açı Supporter), Geniş Açı Dostu (Geniş Açı Friend) and Geniş Açı Hamisi (Geniş Açı Patron) and receive annual subscription of Geniş Açı along with a photograph (in sizes of 20X30 cm, 30X40 cm and 40X60 cm depending on their support) which they shall choose from the photographs above.
At first, we composed a selection of 11 photographs among our columnists and the photographers whose portfolios were published in our special portfolio issues. Our current selection shall be revised in the light of your demands and suggestions. Photographs shall be limited in 50 edition of Lambda print (a process where the photographic paper is exposed by laser and developed by traditional photographic process). The photographs are available in three different sizes of 20X30 cm, 30X40 cm and 40X60 cm. The photographs shall hold an explanatory label at the back and shall be delivered to your address within a carbon-box.

Our contributor readers giving their support shall be announced on our web site and in our coming issues.
